The Journey to Skellig Michael is a route that is unchanged in 1000 years. This ancient monastic site is only accessible by boat, but in the short 8 mile journey you go back 1000 years to a peaceful calm.
More recently the Skelligs were used as a set for the monastic elderly Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars Movie.
